Abstract

Precision medicine, as a revolutionary approach to healthcare, has transitioned from theoretical concepts to practical application. This paper explores the evolution of precision medicine, highlighting the shift from one-size-fits-all treatment strategies to personalized medicine. It discusses the foundational theories that underpin precision medicine, including genomics, pharmacogenomics, and bioinformatics. Furthermore, the paper delves into the challenges and opportunities encountered in implementing precision medicine in clinical practice. These include issues related to data integration, regulatory approval, and patient access. The abstract concludes by emphasizing the potential of precision medicine to enhance treatment efficacy, improve patient outcomes, and reduce healthcare costs.
